Sorry, but this report is not complete. It's taking a lot of time to do right. But here is what it is, so-far.
The Gospel of God is Preached in East Africa
Will God prepare a People, a Royal Priesthood before the last Day?
Isa 2:2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.
Dan 12:4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; :10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
This page will show the intent and results of my visit to Kenya. The
age we live in has made possible many new ways of teaching the true
Gospel of the Kingdom of God. But new only in faster, easier travel and enhanced means of communication. The actual message remains the same as always, to enter into life in the Kingdom of Heaven. It has become clear that God is calling some
few from many tribes in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda to
understand His Word of promise and turn away from the false beliefs of the World. God has put in our hands the ability to actively participate in the commission of the Church, to "... make disciples of all the nations" in this part of the World. On this trip I have seen and fellowshipped with some of those people. I have been affected greatly. I have brought home within me a deep seated joy. Joy of knowing them and their love for God. They have the gift of the
holy spirit, and easily demonstrate the fruits of it. Singing songs day
and night about the Bible Patriarchs, and eagerly coming together to hear
teachings from the Word of God, their light shines brightly. They do not have worldly resources for such things as radio or television preaching. Instead, they are able to broadcast to many locally, directly through person to person networking, to declare the hope of the Gospel among friends and extended family.
Joh 17:16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Luk 13:18 Then He said, "What is the kingdom of God like? And to what
shall I compare it? Luk 13:19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man
took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the
birds of the air nested in its branches."
Amsterdam Street
Getting There Bill Goff (Kenya Hands of Hope) has made this trip several times before. Having him as a travel partner was a big benefit. There are no flights direct from the USA to Nairobi, so we met in Amsterdam and stayed overnight at a downtown hotel. This gave us a good rest before continuing on to Nairobi on a comfortable 747. Traveling south across northern Africa was notable for it's vast unpopulated emptiness. We arrived at 9 pm and were met by James Mutulu. James is doing the work of an evangelist in East Africa, spreading the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the small groups and families being called there. Knowledege of a good, reasonably priced hotel was especially valuable. We rested there for two days, getting accustomed to the time change, nine hours for me, seven for Bill. Seeing resistance to scriptures in every Church he attended, James began teaching the Kingdom of God independently since 1999. Read James Full Biography.

All Together
Maingi's Place, Kwavonza
Our first trip was to see Kisilu and Rebecca Miangi and their son and daughter, Vaati and Mutindi. On the way we also picked up Mrs. Esther Kitonga from a nearby town. There are many tribes in Kenya. One thing common to most is that they like to engage in extended greetings with embraces, hand shaking and several greetings. After touring the fields, where the corn and beans were dwarfed for lack of moisture in the ground, Bill and Les each gave a sermon while James translated. After that we had our afternoon meal. Everywhere we went, food was served after washing hands at the table. Fingers are the primary eating utensil along with the unleavened flat bread, called chipati, and ugali, a cornmeal mush. Usually a green leafy vegetable is also served. Bananas and oranges are enjoyed when available. Both of these are grown widely in Kenya. The bananas are not Chiquita variety, but are shorter in length. They have a slight tanginess to them, quite pleasant.

Greeters on the Road
Charles Mokoro at Ogembo Charles is the elder at his compound outside the village of Ogembo, in the Kisii region. Charles contacted us back in June of 2010 through our web site. Mutulu visited them soon afterward and found them to be sincere, well grounded, and eager to receive strong doctrine. After learning of the holy days, this congregation was eager to attend the 2010 Feast of Tabernacles in Mombasa. Our arrival was delayed by a late afternoon downpour which made the road very slippery. As a result we had to take four rooms at the Rhockland hotel in Ogembo (photo below). On this visit there was a lot of joy among all of us after we arrived, as we fellowshipped in the parlor.

Before having services a nice lunch was served under the shade structure.
Several hymns were sung by everyone and musical performances were done by several groups.
For services the guest speakers, Bill and Les, each spoke. It was really a Bible study because it was not a Sabbath.

After leaving Ogembo we were on the road for two hours, or so, finally arriving at a checkpoint near the border with Tanzania. From there we walked in to the compound of Evans Ondasi, a devoted and zealous brother who, though very new in the faith, is working hard in spreading the gospel through our literature.

Catching the Sleeper
Respite at Oakwood Hotel, Sleeper to Mombasa
We decide to take the overnight sleeper train to Mombasa. Due to a derailed freight train our progress was impeded which caused us to be 24 hours enroute, some 9 hours late. Fortunately this did not delay our visit the next day to the Simba Hills brethren. We held sleeper car tickets, so we had some moderate comfort, able to sleep overnight. The sleeping was enhanced because there was none of the annoying rail rocking of the car. That is because we were NOT MOVING all night. Actually the railroad equipment is mostly left over from the British system installed decades and decades ago. Maintenance appears to be just enough to keep the system operational. The passenger cars, although showing evidence of heavy wear and tear, seem quite robust in character. Due to the delays, we were 'treated' to a gratuitous lunch, on our third dining car visit. Eventually entering the outskirts of Mombasa, we see preteens standing by the tracks hoping for tossed goodies from passengers.
Then, after a ferry ride over the inlet we traveled through heavily populated communities to our hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was not in any acceptable condition, so we moved on the the Millennium Hotel, the housing site for the Feast in 2010. This proved quite satisfactory with the full included breakfast. Mombasa is at sea level on the Indian Ocean. Here is where the anti-malarial medication was most useful. The mosquitoes were certainly enthusiastic in this region, and the bed netting was most useful. Hot water for the hand-held shower would have made our stay almost perfect. One additional perk of the Millennium was an outdoor bar next door.
