Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,
“Men and brethren, what shall we do?” - Acts 2:37
Our mission here on the internet is to help those who are called by God to learn and hold to the truth that has been given to us by God through Jesus Christ, the prophets, and apostles.
Who We Are
1. We are nondenominational by choice:
Although we hold no animosity to any Christian denomination we have found that the iron walls of denominational dogmatism often become impenetrable to the truth of God.
2. We have chosen to be unaffiliated:
We have no ties with any Christian or secular organization.
3. We are independent:
We receive no support, in part or in whole, by any group, individual or organization. All financial support comes from unsolicited freewill offerings from individual Christians.
4. We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired word of God:
That, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim 3:16). We understand that Paul was referring to the Old Testament, which was all there was at that time and that the New Testament is built on the truths found in the Old Testament which written for our edification (Rom 15:4)
The Truths We Hold
We believe:
In the resurrection of all mankind, some
to eternal life, however others will suffer the second death
from which there is no resurrection (Rev 20:5-6, 12-15)
(John 5:28-29).
Salvation has been made available to all mankind through Jesus
Christ as a personal choice, and is not limited to any one
group, organization or denomination (Acts
13:47; Isa 9:2).
Your salvation is between you and Jesus Christ and can be
ratified only by you (Phil 2:12).
No one can come between you and God unless you allow it (John
10 29;Heb 8:1).
If you confess from your heart that God has raised Jesus from
the dead, and has paid your death penalty you shall be saved
(Rom 10:9-10) (Rom. 5:10).
Baptism is a considered decision by the individual; therefore
it can't be accomplished by proxy or as an infant. It
represents the death of the old man and a commitment to let
Jesus Christ live in you. (Rom. 6:4, 2nd Cor.
4:10-11, Gal. 2:20)
Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our
salvation; there is no other name by which man can be saved
(Acts 4:12; Heb 8:1).
All are invited to come boldly to the throne of God in time of
need, through our High Priest Jesus Christ, going through no
one else, living or dead (Heb 4:16, John 14:6).
All people who have been baptized in Christ have put on Christ
and are Abraham's seed and are therefore heirs to the
promises given to him; there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is
neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for we
are all one in Christ Jesus (Acts 15:9; Gal 3:28; Eph 3:6).
Salvation is by grace and not of works, but we are created unto
good works which God has before ordained that we should walk in
them. (Eph 2:8-10; Rom 6:10;
Jn. 2:20).
The law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and
good (Rom 7:12).
Christ did not come to destroy the law (Mat.
5:17) rather; He magnified the law
and made it honorable (Is 42:21).
Is it possible to know God if we ignore or disrespect
God's law (1Jn 2:3-4)?
There is only one God (not many) and only one mediator (not
many) between man and God, the man Jesus Christ (1 Tim 2:5; Mk
12 29).
How one speaks of the God's law
reveals whom they serve. "To the law and to the
testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is
because there is no light in them" (Isa
8:20).
Our mission is to teach observance of all things commanded by
Jesus and baptize in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy
Spirit (Mat 28:19-20).
Christ is the same today as He was historically and will be in
the future, he will never change (Heb 13:8; Mal 3:6).
Like Paul, we are to follow Christ; He is our guide, and our
perfect example (1Cor 11:1; 1Pet 2:21; 1Jn 2:6). How could we
think to improve on His set
(holy) times and established laws (Dan
7:25)? Therefore we observe the
days He set apart and sanctified, as did the Apostles.
God's word is sacred and is not to be added to, changed,
deleted or diminished by any entity claiming authority be it
man, church or even an angel (De 4:2; De 12:32; Pro 30:6; Rev
22:19).
Truth is found in the scriptures and not from traditions of man
(Acts 17:11; John 17:17).
Traditions should never conflict with Gods word (Mk 7:8; Col
2;8).
Concern for the needy and keeping oneself unspotted from the
world is pure religion (Jas 1:27).
The greatest gift is love (1Cor 13; Jn 13:34), the greatest
commandment is to love God and love your neighbor (Mk
12:30-31), which is a summary of the 10
commandments.
Although we are not affiliated to any of the organizations listed below, we recognize that God's truth is revealed according to His will to those that seek Him and not to any single entity exclusively.
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. - Philippians 2:12-13
